Privacy Notice
Last updated September 18, 2026.
This page explains what Psychology.com Learn ("Learn") stores about you, why, and how to see or delete it. Learn is a product of Psychology.com, Inc.
Adults only
Learn is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has a Learn profile, email info@psychology.com and we will remove it.
What we store
- Your name and email address
- Your timezone, so streaks and your daily goal line up with your day
- The time you asked us to send your daily reminder, if you asked for one, and whether you still want it
- Summary scores and bands from the questionnaires you complete, for example a result like "Secure attachment"
- Progress events: lessons finished, streak days, XP, gems and league placement
- Your entitlement: whether your profile is on the free plan or Learn Plus
What we never store
We never store your individual answers to a questionnaire item. Learn scores your answers on your device, and only the summary score and band are saved. The individual answers are not kept anywhere.
How we use this information
We use it to save your place, show you your results, run streaks, leagues and quests, and send you your sign-in link. We do not sell your information, and we do not let anyone pay to rank higher on the leaderboard.
Cookies
Learn sets one cookie of its own, learn_session, to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies.
Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by our property id) are set only if you answer the cookie notice with ALLOW, or tick Allow Google Analytics in Settings. Until then nothing is loaded from Google and nothing is counted. With your permission, Google Analytics counts which screens open, which lessons start and finish, when a streak day is earned, when a league promotion happens, and when Plus is tried, bought or canceled. It receives the track, unit and lesson, your accuracy and XP for that lesson, and never your name, your email or an answer. You can turn it off at any time in Settings; that stops the counting and removes the cookies. Google's own handling of that data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
Who else touches your data
Learn uses a small number of processors to run the product:
- Resend sends your sign-in link, your daily reminder if you asked for one, and other account email.
- Stripe processes payment if you choose to buy Learn Plus. Stripe handles your card details; we never see or store your full card number.
- Cloudflare hosts our servers and database.
- Google Analytics measures how Learn is used, only after you allow it in the cookie notice or Settings.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your profile is active. You can delete your data at any time from Settings, or by emailing info@psychology.com. Deleting your profile removes your name, email, progress, streak, summary scores and bands, league history and subscription record from our systems, aside from records we must keep for fraud prevention or legal reasons. We send one confirmation email to the address on the account, and then that address is finished with us. Error reports stay in our log for debugging, with the link to your account removed; they never contained your name, your email or an answer in the first place.
Settings also lets you change the name and email on your account, pick the time zone your day counts by, and sign out of Learn everywhere it is open. Changing your email sends a link to the new address; the account keeps the old one until that link is opened, and the old address is told about the change afterwards.
If you are in crisis
If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com. Psychology.com Learn is an educational app, not a crisis service.
