What Learn is

Learn teaches psychology the way a language app teaches a language: one short lesson at a time, a question on every screen, a path that remembers where you are, and a streak that notices when you come back. Every course rests on published research, and every idea is explained before you are asked about it.

  • Explained first, then asked. A lesson opens on a card that names the idea, defines it in one sentence and gives an example. Every question says which idea it is about, and a chip on each one reopens the card at no cost.
  • Many ways to answer. Pick the statement, fill the blank, arrange the tiles, match the pairs, type the term, spot the idea in a short story, sort cards into two groups, say it out loud, or run a small experiment on yourself.
  • A review at the end. Each lesson closes with how many you got right, every question with your answer, the right answer and why, and then your streak and the next step.
  • Keyboard and screen reader. Number keys pick, arrows move, Enter checks, Esc leaves, and the keys that work are shown on every screen.

A lesson, up close

Before Learn asks a single question about you, it runs a twenty-second experiment on you: a wheel, a number, and a look at what that number did to your estimate. Then it asks what you want to learn and builds your path.

Pick an answer with a tap or a number key, check it with Enter, and read why in a sentence that names the idea. A wrong answer costs a try; practice earns one back. Finish, and the day lights up on your streak.

Questions

Is Learn really free?

Yes. Every lesson, every course and every questionnaire is free, with no card and no time limit. Plus adds unlimited tries and the extras above, and nobody needs it to finish the whole path.

Who is Learn for?

Adults 18 and over who want to understand how the mind works: their own decisions, memory, emotions and relationships. Learn is a place to learn. Its questionnaire results suggest where you stand on a measure; they never say what you are.

Where does the content come from?

From published studies and questionnaires. Each course names its sources in its guidebook, every claim in a lesson is written from them, and the Know yourself track uses real measures, explained in plain words: what the measure asks, what a band suggests, and what it does not mean.

What do you store about me?

Your name and email, your time zone, your progress and your summary scores and bands. Never your individual questionnaire answers. You can download or delete everything in Settings. The privacy notice lists it all.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in the browser, with nothing to install. Add Learn to your home screen and the lessons you have opened keep working with no signal. Sound is off until you turn it on, and nothing ever plays on its own.

How does Plus work, and how do I cancel?

The annual plan starts with 7 days free, then costs $49 a year. The monthly plan is $9.99 a month with no trial. Cancel any time in Settings and keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Not for you? Email info@psychology.com within 30 days of your first charge for a full refund. The Plus page has the details.

Can I use it with a keyboard or a screen reader?

Yes. Every screen works with number keys, arrows, Enter and Esc, the keys are shown as you go, and the ? key opens the full list. Every picture carries a description, and what changes on screen is announced.
